Check-in/check-out patients, answer incoming phone calls and enter information into the electronic health record. Schedule follow up appointments and provide resources to patients. Verify insurance information. Must have knowledge of an EHR system and experience with referrals in insurance prior authorizations. Welcomes patients, prepare patients for the health care visit , direct to dressing room verify patient information, take vital signs, prepare laboratory specimens, perform basic laboratory specimens, drawing blood, provide information and instructions, answer questions, perform wellness visits, follows quality protocols, performs EKG's administer injections and assist in procedures/treatments as requested by Physician. One (1) year of Medical Assistant experience required, LPN or Medical Assistant Certification or a combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experpience. Must be CPR certified
