Description
We are hiring for a Project Cost Controller position in TUSCALOOSA, Alabama, United States. This role is primarily involved in the construction industry, where you will handle financial management for multiple projects. This role is a long-term contract engagement.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage financial aspects of construction projects
• Implement budget processes for cost efficiency
• Conduct forecasting to anticipate project costs and financial needs
• Handle accounts payable tasks to ensure smooth financial operations
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports and updates
• Ensure construction cost control measures are in place and effective
• Respond promptly to any project-related financial inquiries
• Ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
• Should have a strong background in forecasting, with a focus on financial projections
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
• Ability to prepare and interpret monthly financials is crucial for this role
• Degree in Finance, Business, or related field is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must
• Proficiency in using financial software like Sage and Microsoft Office Suite is expected
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential
