Eos Energy Storage, LLC Quality Technician II in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania
Quality Control Technicians are accountable for quality records, tests and inspections accurately performed and reported on the computer in simple written reports.
Responsibilities
Must perform all duties in the department in a safe manner and consistent with all company safety rules.
Inspect goods or products according to quality specifications, safety standards and parts characterization.
Collate test or production data, providing summary tables and routine quality reports.
Investigate root cause of product failures and coordinates corrective actions with production supervisors.
Disposition suspect product as scrap, rework, or approved.
Notify supervisor when quality, test, and inspection data exceed acceptable limits or when incidents of poor quality are noted.
Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control and quality system work processes. Makes recommendations to Manager regarding observations and findings.
Develop and maintain quality records and metrics.
Ensure goods and products comply with company standards.
Record and administer quality documents such as quality specifications, forms, and instructions.
Assist in internal, third party, and customer audits.
Support operation and coordination of calibration on all testing devices.
Assist with testing of supplier samples and special inspections.
Develops and demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of established quality policy, procedures, and instructions.
Demonstrated excellent understanding of component IQC, IPQC, and able to teach proper techniques.
Operation of the laser and CMM equipment.
Ability to accurately read measuring devices, blueprints, product specifications and test procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High-level of visual awareness.
Advanced organizational skills.
Use and understanding of precision measuring instruments and gauges, specifications, charts, and diagrams.

Ability to stand for long periods.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years' experience required.
Experience drafting reports and collating data.
High School diploma or GED required; 2-year trade school degree/diploma preferred.
Background in R&D or manufacturing environment a plus.
Computer skills are required, familiarity with windows and Microsoft office suite.
Travel

- Factory - The worker may be subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, vibration, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to temperature changes or exposure to chemicals. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, odors, dust, mists, and gases. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and lab coats. May be required to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or other ise move objects, including the human body.
