Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst with our client located east of Pittsburgh, PA Pennsylvania. This role primarily involves providing support to all employees and maintaining computer systems for the company. You will work to ensure the smooth operation of technical equipment and software, acting as the first point of contact for technical inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a range of support for all employees, from answering general technical questions to handling complex issues related to the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications and hardware. • Maintain records of support transactions, documenting descriptions of issues, email communications, updates, and resolution steps. • Conduct diagnostics on computer systems to investigate and resolve problems, including reimaging machines for new deployments or redeployments. • Manage and maintain the data center to ensure continuous systems operations and respond appropriately to any failures or issues. • Handle basic to intermediate assessment and support of network equipment connectivity, including troubleshooting switches, access points, and firewalls. • Assist in project planning and implementation for specialized project tasks such as hardware upgrades, software upgrades, data backups, or infrastructure upgrades. • Uphold best practices in support of security protocol for account management, privilege/access control, data handling and sharing, and site access security. • Utilize various skills, including Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deskside Support.

This role requires a high level of customer service and detail oriented communication skills to effectively deal with all users. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role as a Help Desk Analyst or in a related field

• Proficient in Citrix Technologies

• Familiarity with various Database systems

• Knowledge in EO/IR systems

• Experience in using Lotus Notes

• Proficiency in Microsoft tools and applications

• Experience in Active Directory management

• Understanding of Computer Hardware components and their functions

• Skilled in Configuration Management

• Experience in providing Deskside Support

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware and its troubleshooting

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
