Structural Detailer/Bridge Co-Inspector (BE3) In-Training *Tumwater, WA -- Headquarters $61,404 -- $100,524 Annually * Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Bridge & Structures Office (BPO) is seeking an engineering inspector to fill a Bridge Engineer 3 vacancy located in Tumwater, WA. As a Bridge Engineer 3 in the BPO, this position will serve as a structural detailer in the development of bridge maintenance repair details and contract plan sheets and as a Co-Inspector to aid in the inspection of bridges and tunnels. This position will support WSDOT's mission of providing safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation by ensuring the safety and reliability of the bridges on the state highway system. This is accomplished by developing plans utilizing Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software while also assisting in federally mandated bridge inspections as defined by the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS).
