International ST2 - Painter in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Position Overview
This position is open for Contractor Conversions only.
Responsibilities
Prepare paint area appropriately to result in good paint application that meets paint specification criteria
Paint components using appropriate spray techniques and adjust spray equipment as appropriate
Prepare the bus to mask the areas that will be painted
Mix paints and work with solvents
Identify paint defects and root cause
Maintain basic safety precautions when handling paints/solvents
Minimum Requirements
- Prior automotive painting experience
Additional Requirements
Ability to repair and paint defects
Ability to perform painting in hard to reach and awkward positions
Ability to perform task in full gear of painter’s PPE, including respirator
Ability to walk/stand up to 10 hours per day
Desired Skills
Experience with automotive body repairs
At least 1 year of automotive hands on experience with paint
Good mechanical aptitude
