Slitter Operator

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Slitter Operator. This will be a 1st shift position: Monday– Thursday 5:00am – 3:00pm.

What you will be doing:

Proficient in All Functions Required to Operate the Slitting Line

Direct/Coordinate Slitter Helpers

Assist in Set-ups and Changeover as Required

Perform Quality Inspection Activities as Required

Visual and /or Measured Inspection of Product for Damage or Defects

Train with Plant Supervisor Training of Slitter Helpers

Maintain High Level Safety Standards

Maintain High Level Housekeeping Standards

The skills and experience you need:

High school or equivalent

2 Years in a Steel Service Center / Processing Environment

Professional Business Attitude

Communication/Cooperative Interaction with Other Employees

Computer data entry

Proficient in Use of Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Tape Measure

Proficient in Math

Forklift and Overhead Crane Operation .
