Shipper / Forklift Driver
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Shipper. This position is responsible for pulling, packaging and loading all orders. Equipment used on a daily basis includes sit down lift, Combi lift, stock picker, turret stock picker, spotter truck with 48-53’ trailer. The size and weight of material handled is often over length and fragile. This will be a 1st shift position - Monday thru Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm with overtime as required.
What you will be doing:
Pull and stage all orders
Safely drive forklift to pull and load orders
Use truck and trailer to move material throughout the campus
Learn how to operate all equipment used in department
Understand role of traffic department to serve as backup when needed
The skills and experience you need:
High school graduate or equivalent
Experience driving a forklift
Proven work experience in a manufacturing and warehousing environment
Class A CDL is a plus
