Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt Employment Type: Full Time

Description: The Financial Operations Manager/Plant Controller analyzes operations from a financial perspective and gives recommendations to plant management for efficiency improvements, cost savings, and profit improvement with the ultimate goal of higher facility profitability and increased capacity. This position also manages and coordinates all external pricing and offers the opportunity to engage as a true business partner with operations and support departments. Additionally, this position helps to drive plant strategy, focus, and alignment around Bama's Key strategic intentions. This position reports to the Plant Director with dotted line accountability to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 5+ years' experience.

  • Previous food or manufacturing industry experience preferred.

  • Public and/or cost accounting experience preferred.

  • Ability to focus on accuracy of details, while understanding the impact from a "big picture" perspective.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and query design.
