System One Microsoft 365 Administrator in Tulsa, Oklahoma

System One is looking for a Microsoft O365 Administrator for a manufacturing company in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in Microsoft O365 and SharePoint administration. This administration role includes deployment, implementation, training, change management and ownership of O365.

Position Description

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Project management experience implementing and deploying Microsoft 365 solutions.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Security using Active Directory, Azure Administration, and Microsoft 365 online groups.

  • Experience in the development of technical user documentation.

  • Basic scripting and development skills using PowerShell.

  • Demonstrated focus on customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide variety of audiences.

  • Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and effective oral and written communication/public relation skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to think creatively and put ideas into action.

  • Ability to make presentations to large audiences.

  • Personal integrity, honesty, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

    Essential Functions

    This position will deliver a roadmap, delivery strategies, support, and training for the Microsoft 365 suite of tools and applications utilized at the company. The suite includes, but is not limited to, Teams, Office, Outlook, PowerApps, OneDrive, Bookings, Power BI, and SharePoint.

    Job Duties

  • Identify, research, recommend, deploy and implement Microsoft 365 solutions and applications such as Teams, Office, Outlook, Flow, PowerApps, OneDrive, Bookings, Power BI, and SharePoint.

  • Serve as the Microsoft Outlook administrator.

  • Provide best practice advice and guidance related to email and related services.

  • Serve as the point of contact regarding new requests related to Microsoft Applications and related solutions to meet business needs.

  • Develop, maintain, and update Microsoft 365 governance documentation.

  • Provide support to employees for technical and configuration issues related to Microsoft 365 applications.

  • Implement compliance and enforce ownership of applications and site content with stakeholders.

  • Partner with all departments for the integration and testing of applications that support or integrate with Microsoft 365 applications.

  • Manage Microsoft 365 security administration in collaboration with the information security team.

  • Stay current on Microsoft 365 changes, updates, and new releases and keep the company informed on forthcoming changes.

  • Provide system support and maintain uptime of applications within acceptable standards.

  • Ensure effective use of existing applications and deliver new solutions in a timely manner.

  • Provide application maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with license agreements and provide input to contracts for the company’s Microsoft Enterprise Agreement and other Microsoft applications.

  • Provide training to support staff to facilitate the handling of Microsoft 365 support calls.

  • Provide Microsoft 365 application training to end-users including but not limited to Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive.
