Robert Half HR Coordinator in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Description

The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting various human resources functions within the organization. This position assists in the implementation and coordination of HR policies and procedures, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, and other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.

Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating training programs.

Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.

Provide support for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management processes.

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Process payroll and benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.

Coordinate employee recognition programs and events.

Assist with HR reporting and data analysis as needed.

Handle general HR inquiries from employees and managers.

Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in HR or related administrative roles preferred.

  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
