Job Purpose:

  • The Process Improvement Business Execution Manager is accountable for leading and driving process improvements projects using the PDSA methodology, as well as collaborating with all Tulsa plants to share learning's and best practices.

  • This position drives and executes strategy, focus and alignment around key improvement initiatives.

  • The Process Improvement Manager plays a critical role in engaging all Bama team members in process improvement projects.

  • This will be accomplished through developing relationships, teaching process improvement skills and tools, leading and facilitating teams, and celebrating successes.

    This position reports to the Plant Manager with a dotted line to the Director of Business Execution

    Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of increasing responsibility and experience in a fast paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret results, and affect change, often requiring advanced mathematical calculations.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret results, and affect change, often requiring advanced mathematical calculations.

  • Working knowledge of plant safety and quality requirements.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of production processes.

  • Excellent team facilitation and leadership skills.

  • Mastered utilization of Minitab, Business Objects, Visio, Bama's web based applications

    Preferred:

  • 3-7 years in a project management role, with demonstrated excellence in project management & organizational skills

  • Possess the appropriate educational experience or job related experience to perform the role

  • Bachelor's degree in business, math, quality, or related field preferred

  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred, must complete Black Belt Training and Certification Test

  • Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and positive results in the use of Deming and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC and DFSS)

  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of Statistics (SPC, ANOVA, Hypothesis Testing, etc.) and statistics software (WinSPC, Minitab, Business Objects, etc.)
