Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Senior Operations Research Analyst (Accelerator Program Administrator) to work out of Tucson, AZ.
We have an exciting opportunity supporting ARCWERX Innovation Center in Tucson, AZ developing and executing our Innovation Management System designed to manage innovation from opportunity concept through to fielded capabilities. Operations Research Analysts work with field level innovation leads to evaluate opportunity concepts, identify uncertainties and assumptions, and build learning campaigns to buy down uncertainty, analyze technology feasibility and operational viability, work with end users to identify transition pathways, and implement innovation progression metrics to track progress.
Responsible for a wide variety of detailed operational research responsibilities, operations, or proposals. Participates in analysis and evaluations of capabilities and operational concepts to identify technology feasibility, operational viability, cost impacts, and more. Assesses, prepares, and provides mission short- and long-range goals, objectives, and initiatives to be presented to senior leadership. Maintains innovation management metrics for real-time dashboards on project progression. Works with end users to identify and plan transition pathways. Works with Innovation Portfolio and Program Analysts to evaluate organizational processes and propose and implement changes. Designs and executes studies in accordance with program goals and senior guidance. Creates, composes, consolidates, and review documentation, e.g., correspondence, briefings, response to inquiries, and talking points for correctness, format, spelling, and grammar before sending out for approval or signature. Assist with special projects where multiple functions are involved, coordinating actions, clarifying responsibilities and timelines for completion, consolidating data, and review to ensure accomplishment of objectives, timeliness, and acceptability.
Essential Duties:
Uses professional concepts to contribute to development of company concepts and principles.
Works on complex problems. Exercises independent judgment. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may supervise the activities of lower-level personnel.
Analysis and evaluation of opportunity concepts, military operations, and identification of uncertainties and assumptions.
Analysis of historic program data in context of IMS to identify patterns and trends in innovation management processes and create lessons learned.
Develops learning campaigns to resolve uncertainties and assumptions and mature innovation into operationally feasible business case.
Articulate business case to potential end users and collectively work to identify and execute transition pathways.
Maintain overall master schedule for ARCWERX Program.
Frequently concentrates on collecting and analyzing data as well as defining data requirements for concise and comprehensive reporting of data results to various customers.
Review the analysis results of other analysts to ensure consistency. Involved in identifying indications of system performance and corrective measures that need to be taken.
Create, conduct, design and evaluate experimental operational models where insufficient data exists to formulate results with the given information.
Identify inefficiencies in current processes and systems through operational research methods.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.

Required Qualifications:
10 years of related experience
Experience in operations research, data analysis, and innovation management
Experience with military operations and concepts of operations
Experience with building experimentation campaigns to resolve uncertainty and assumptions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in Operational Concepts Development, mission analysis, and military mission space.
Military Operational Experience
Experience fielding emerging technologies
Education/ Certification:
- Master's degree in degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
