Aerotek Light Utility Maintenance Technician in Tucson, Arizona

JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Light Utility Maintenance Technician to perform various maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic utility systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

• Safety minded, Lock Out Tag Out experience a must, experience using an MMS system to track work on a daily basis. • Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders if needed. • Able to perform routine preventive maintenance on general building systems and offices. • Able to communicate in English. • Must provide own tools. • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

SHIFT: First Shift 6:00 am - 3:00 pm (1) Second Shift 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm (2)

PAY RATES: 25.20 per hour, up to two dollars more depending on experience

OT SITUATION: - limited overtime

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Skill sets • Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment. • Must be able to use a computer. • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment. • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations • Skilled in analyzing information and creating reports.

Desired Skill Sets • Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts. • Mechanical and electrical trouble shooting ability is required. • Industrial electrical required with experience working around 3 Phase 277- and 480-volt systems. Knowledge of 120 volt and low power control voltage systems. • Able to use multimeter as needed.

Additional: • Ability to attain airport badging • Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation. • Capable of bending, twisting, lifting and using machinery such as buffers for extended periods of time. • Perform general manual labor. • Fear of heights • Open availability and flexibility with scheduling. • Veterans must provide the form DD214 of discharge information if applicable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52416.00 - $56576.00
