Description
We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Part-Time (PT) Full Charge Bookkeeper here in Tucson! As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be handling full charge bookkeeping duties in the non-profit industry, utilizing QuickBooks Online and Microsoft tools. This role is an essential part of the team, and you'll be part of an organization that truly gives back to the community.
This will be an on-site role for 15-20 hours per week -- flexible on hours, but must be between Monday - Friday. Flexible on days.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online and other accounting software systems to maintain and update financial records.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook to create financial reports, conduct data analysis, and communicate with other team members.
• Handle billing functions, ensuring all invoices are sent out in a timely manner and all payments are accurately recorded.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications as needed.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action in response to any issues or discrepancies.
• Resolve customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Experience using Quickbooks Online is preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling financial information.
