Raytheon Technologies Digital Asset Lifecycle Operations Specialist in Tucson, Arizona
This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
The Raytheon Missiles and Defense business seeks a self-motivated team member to join the Digital Asset Lifecycle Optimization and Enablement team to manage operational responsibilities related to equipment leases, asset tagging and equipment end of life activities.
Specific job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Create new lease schedule in the lease contract database (Eracent)
Assigns, distributes and uploads asset tag information for new lease schedules
Confirms receipt of leased assets via a Receipt of Goods document from leasing companies
Field inquiries from lease vendors on any questions related to monthly lease payments
Process property tax invoices as necessary
Notify lease owners of lease scheduled to terminate and take appropriate action based on lease owners direction
Obtain buyout quotes for any terminating leases which will be bought out
Process monthly payments on extended leases
Monitor general email inbox and respond to inquiries related to remote asset recovery
Work with RTX shipping and the occasional need to create shipping labels
Coordinate the shipment of packing supplies and return labels for remote asset recovery from end users
Manage equipment recovery efforts from field offices when excess equipment needs to be picked up by RTX’s recycle vendor, ERI.
(Clarification on Work Product: The employee will have three areas of focus in this role.
Firstly, the team member will manage equipment lease activities through the full lease schedule lifecycle. This responsibility entails capturing lease schedule information in Eracent at the start of a lease, monitoring active leases, and preparing for and executing lease end activities like lease end notifications to lease owners, coordinating lease buyouts, and paying ‘evergreen’ fees on extended leases.
Secondly, the team member will manage asset tag distribution for mission area hardware. The responsibility entails fielding requests for asset tags, distributing the asset tags, and uploading asset and asset tag information to Eracent.
Lastly, the team member will coordinate remote asset recovery from end users and will manage end of life shipments from RMD office locations when excess equipment needs to be disposed of through RTX’s hardware recycler, ERI.)
3+ years of related IT asset management service operations or logistics experience
Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to respond to and diagnose problems through discussion with end users, lease owners and lease vendors
Self-motivated, well organized, detail oriented with good interpersonal skills
Direct experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio)
Experience working with suppliers / vendors to obtain lease buyout quotes, extend lease schedules and troubleshoot issues when necessary
Experience with data gathering and data input
Excellent written and verbal skills
Proper phone and email etiquette
Ability to work in fast paced environment responding to multiple requests from a diverse set of stakeholders
Ability to use organizational skills to navigate a large organization in order to accomplish daily activities
Ability to continuously improve processes and make changes when necessary
Associate's degree or higher educational experience in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, Logistics or equivalent military or work experience
