Clinician\'s Support Specialist # 8701

SUMMARY

Provides clerical support and diagnostic information as a Clinicians Support Specialist (Data Assistant) with a high WPM typing speed to assist with information management. The Clinicians Support Specialist will enter new information into our existing system and update outdated information. They are also required to review documents and reports for accuracy and completeness before entering them into the system. It is essential to maintain confidentiality and enter data accurately, as this information may be used to track data and create psychoeducational reports.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CLINICIAN\'S SUPPORT SPECIALIST

• Bachelors degree in psychology, special education or related field

OR

• Recent (3- 5 years) diagnostic test administration experience aimed at determining special education eligibility in public school settings.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience in data entry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CLINICIAN\'S SUPPORT SPECIALIST

• Ed.S or masters degree in psychology, special education and/or related field
• Experience with school-age children
• Arizona Education and/or Special Education Certification
• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Bilingual Spanish/English

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

• FBI fingerprint background check.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
• Must hold a valid Driver\'s license (Arizona Drivers Licenserequiredwithin 30 days of hire) and personal vehicle insurance coverage greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
• Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of auto insurance policy. Coverage must be valid throughout term of employment
• Bloodborne Pathogen training offered by TUSD Risk Management Department.

COMMENTS

• Clinician\'s Support Specialist pay range \$23.38 to \$27.14/hour

• Location: Exceptional Education - Sites Vary
• Classification: Supervisory/Professional
• FTE:1.0 8 hours per day
• Work Calendar: 9.5 month
• Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
