Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Tucson, Arizona, 85712, United States, within a CPA Firm. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for handling a variety of bookkeeping tasks, ranging from data entry to the maintenance of accurate financial records. This role involves working with accounting software, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Handle daily bookkeeping duties, including data entry and journal entries using accounting software like QuickBooks
• Assist with the functions of accounts payable and accounts receivable, which include processing invoices and payments
• Undertake account reconciliation tasks and bank reconciliations
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and current financial records for clients, in line with accounting standards and regulations
• Prepare and analyze various financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist with the processing of payroll and related tax filings
• Handle the month-end close processes efficiently
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks and activities. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary for this role.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Previous experience with Bank Reconciliations is essential.
• A strong understanding of Bookkeeping is a must.
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel is expected.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is desirable.
• Candidates should have prior experience in handling Payroll.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is a significant advantage.
