The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will will engage the client and caregivers in the process of treatment, coordinate with other treatment professionals, work with community resources, supervise the behavior technician (BT/RBT) implementing the treatment plan, and develop a positive collaborative relationship with any other professionals working with the child and family.

The BCBA will utilize a variety of assessment tools, person centered planning, and collaboration with the child, the family, and the treatment team to design and implement individualized behavior programming in the home and community. This includes supervising and/or providing direct treatment services, developing and monitoring progress toward individualized goals and objectives, conducting behavior assessments, developing client treatment plans and curriculum, providing training to various team members as needed, and reporting progress at regular intervals to the treatment team.

The BCBA will have knowledge in developing sequenced skill-acquisition programs, knowledge of effective strategies for behavior reduction, complete data analysis, monitor implementation of treatment plans, recommend adjustments as necessary, and have excellent and positive verbal and written communication with the treatment team.

Essential Duties & Functions (With or Without Accommodation):

  • Provide clinical supervision for direct service employees individually or in group settings.
  • Oversee provision of clinical services ensuring that they are in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Review, interview, hire, train, supervise and support clinical staff including Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT)
  • Provide regularly scheduled administrative, clinical and reflective supervision individually and in a group setting for BHTs, as necessary.
  • Monitor quality of work and provide feedback to BHTs through audits, reviews and regular supervision.
  • Provide assessment, clinical evaluation, and services as needed for children and families with complex mental health needs.
  • Coordinate service provision and collaboration with community partners.
  • Coordinate clinical services for children and families referred to BHS

Comply with State, Federal and Other Relevant Regulation/Requirements

  • Report suspected neglect/abuse to Child Protective Services and supervisor, complete required documentation.
  • Comply wi th privacy laws and requirements under HIPPA regulations.
  • Follow all safety procedures required by EBF.

Knowledge and Skills (with or without accommodation):

Experience developing and writing comprehensive treatment plans including skill acquisition and behavior reduction (FBA)

Experience and knowledge of naturalistic teaching, DTT, PRT, incidental teaching, etc.

Experience providing services with children and their families

Experience providing services with adults preferred

Experience providing services in educational settings preferred

Prior supervisory experience preferred

Spanish speaking preferred

ASL proficient preferred
