Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves a variety of responsibilities within the accounting sector in the Construction industry. You will be responsible for tasks such as processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor customer credit accounts actively and take appropriate action to collect overdue payments.
Work closely with municipalities to gather permits
• Assist the purchasing department as needed.
• Carry out data entry tasks and manage invoice processing.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and organize data.
• Perform AP/AR as needed
• Undertake filing tasks to ensure the organization and accessibility of documents.
• Leverage your accounting knowledge to contribute to our team's efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
• Position requires a basic understanding of Accounting
Previous background in Construction is preferred, however, open to quick learners
• Proficiency in Data Entry is required for this position
• Knowledge of Invoice Processing is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for this role
• While experience is appreciated, this role is open to those with 0+ years in the field of accounting
