Need 10 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Truman, MN. From: 02/15/2025 to 12/15/2025 Work: 50 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 10 hrs./day As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. JOB DESCRIPTION: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, cultivator, planter, rotary hoe, harrow, ripper, mower and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, replace/maintain tires, service (check fluids), replace wear items and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Clean grain bins. Install field drainage tile. Maintaining farm building sites. Drive trucks to haul farm workers, supplies and tools. All tools, supplies and equipment will be provided. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Crops: Corn, soybeans, peas, hay JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Class D License or be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Able to perform work that requires: exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
