Facilities Maintenance Technician

2^nd^ & 3^rd^ Shifts

Earn a pay rate up to $39.90

This position performs duties required in order to maintain the building, grounds, and plant facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform highly diversified duties to repair and maintain building, grounds, and plant facilities such as HVAC, Electrical, plumbing, miscellaneous mechanical systems, etc.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective parts, test and make adjustments to automated production equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on plant facilities and equipment.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Perform general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency).
• Other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation of the facility (including but not limited to, hanging pictures, unclogging drains and toilets, painting, moving furniture, etc.)

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, specialty trade training/certification and/or 2-3+ years related experience.
• Experience in trouble shooting and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC systems, etc.
• Possess basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read and understand Operation Standards, blue prints, maintenance and equipment manuals, etc.
• Follows all safety requirements of the company -- (including PPE -hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) safe job behaviors, etc.

• Must be willing to work any shift and overtime as needed, including weekends.

   

Work Environment:

• Plant environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly exposed to dust, grease/oil, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
• Regularly required to be exposed to outside weather/elements.

• Regularly required to work at heights and in confined spaces
