Unity House Summer Camp Director in Troy, New York
It's that time of year! Looking for Summer Camp help for Unity House of Troy’s Summer Camp Program Great for those home from college or someone looking for temporary work for the summer. Come join the fun!
This temporary position is for Camp Director. If you possess leadership skills as well as enjoy working with kids 6-12 please consider this position!
Responsibilities:
Pre-camp:
Meet with Health Department to review health and food standards.
Understand emergency procedures
May meet with camp related contacts prior to opening to make sure they will be accepting summer camp activities at their locations.
Understand protocol for behavioral issues
During camp:
In conjunction with WSI/counselors, receive breakfast & lunches from delivery truck each morning. Start breakfast and pack lunches in coolers to be placed on the bus if traveling.
Call in the next day’s lunch request
Please meet with counselors/ camp staff each morning to discuss days events and answer any questions.
Supervise all camp counselors and SYEP workers
Complete any necessary reports and paperwork
Make sure equipment is clean and put away each day

Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma and have a background in supervising children. Valid and clean NYS driver license.
