Unity House Overnight Case Manager in Troy, New York

Position is eligible for a $1250 sign on bonus!

Bilingual or Spanish speaking candidates needed! Differential paid, must use language daily as a part of work.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the satisfactory and safe functioning of the Domestic Violence Emergency Residence during the overnight hours.

Carry out program routines, practices, and procedures.

Light duty cleaning of the shelter.

Answer phones including the Unity House Domestic Violence Hotline.

Answer incoming calls from the NYS Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault/PREA Hotlines if necessary.

Engage in ongoing victim-centered and trauma-informed interactions with program residents.

Provide crisis intervention when necessary.

Complete all necessary reports and paperwork.

Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.

Requirements:

College degree preferred. Must have a High School/GED and 1-2 years previous experience working with victims of domestic violence or a similar population. Must have reliable transportation. Please have a valid NYS driver license.
