In order to be considered an applicant for this position you must meet the minimum qualifications as stated in this announcement. HVCC does not support Visas. Applicants must currently hold an unrestricted employment authorization to work in the United States and appointment will be contingent upon completion of a background check.

Qualifications for Employment

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and five (5) or more years of experience with

project management and/or managing contracts and/or research/report writing in a post-secondary environment are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is also required.

The selected candidate must be able to communicate effectively, plan, organize, and execute plans in a timely manner. The selected candidate will interact with students, faculty and staff as well as external stakeholders and the public.

Preferred: Master’s degree, experience with diverse populations, and three (3) or more years’ experience in project management and/or managing contracts and/or research/report writing in a post-secondary environment.

Nature and Scope of Duties

The Coordinator of Academic Services reports to the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs or their designee and performs the following duties:

sustain a current status.

Coordinates with academic departments to identify new articulation agreements opportunities with four-year colleges and BOCES/Career and Technical Centers.

Prepare, maintain and manage agreement documents for appropriate campus signatures.

Develop, organize, and maintain a comprehensive organizational system for all academic documents. This is to include articulation agreements, program reviews, and general education requirements.

Identify and complete new project partnerships and document implementation progress.

Apprise and update the communications and marketing team to ensure all new and/or modified agreements and affiliations are promoted.

Works with academic departments on internship compliance on an as needed basis.

Works with Deans and Department Chairpersons to ensure accuracy of the master schedule including but not limited to calculation of faculty load, student contact hours and pay.

Prepares statistical reports and information to the College and related stakeholders on scheduling issues including classroom utilization, disabled student accommodations and the Master Schedule.

Develop and produce ad hoc reports including but not limited to any new projects or initiatives that fall under the academic services umbrella.

Create and execute presentations for various stakeholders, including but not limited to the Board of Trustees and the Executive Team regarding new partnerships, micro-credentials, and apprenticeships on an as needed basis.

May be required to work in other areas as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Cross-training will be provided on an as needed basis.

Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time 12-month Non-Teaching Professional position with a salary range of $60,000.00 to $70,000.00
