Unity House Assistant Program Director TAS in Troy, New York

The Transitional Apartment Services (TAS) program at Unity House of Troy is searching for an Assistant Program Director to join the team.

Position is eligible for a $750 sign on bonus

Responsibilities:

Work in conjunction with peer Assistant Program Director(s) and Program Directors to ensure satisfactory functioning of a scattered site apartment treatment transitional residential program.

Manages day-to-day participant care coordination, ensure appointments scheduled/attended. Coordinate/assist Program Director with the admission and discharge process

Supervises medication inventory, related procedures and documentation and ensures quality control and training of medication supervision.

In conjunction with Program Director, address and problem solve program issues such as staff morale, managing change, team building, communications, etc. Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging.

Assist Program Director with training and orienting program employees.

Ensure all paperwork, documentation, QA requirement and program-billing needs are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Ensure sites are prepared for site visits from regulatory bodies.

Coordinate the team approach and facilitate information flow to ensure collaboration of services exists between program staff and with participants, family members and other service providers through staff meetings, external meetings, program records, and correspondence.

Complete on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.

May carry a caseload.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in related field with at 2 years of related experience in the mental health field, preferred. Associates degree with 3 years of related experience in the mental health field. Valid and clean New York State driver license required. Reliable transportation, required. Prior supervisory experience required.
