Integra Partners Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst in Troy, Michigan

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will support business intelligence and reporting across multiple business units for Integra Partners. They will develop, implement, and define business metrics along with overseeing projects from start to completion. They will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the desired output leads to the desired outcomes and meets stakeholder requirements / ultimately brings value to the business.

Salary: $85,000/Annually

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

 

The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the management and support of Integra’s Business Intelligence tools and reporting efforts across multiple business units.

  • Act as a subject matter expert when it comes to different data sources used within Integra; be able to explore and research ambiguous questions in data using SQL/Snowflake to accurately scope asks from stakeholders to understand needs vs data capabilities

  • Build new dashboards and reports to meet the needs of the business; work with stakeholders to gather all appropriate requirements to determine an appropriate plan of action for completion

  • Manage completion of multiple projects and provide periodic updates to stakeholders and management; thoughtful and thorough check of all work before finalizing dashboards

  • Take ownership of existing dashboards - explore and understand any required data manipulation; Ensure they are up to date with all current data, KPI/Metric definitions, and supporting documentation

  • Take lead in identifying and recommending opportunities to improve metrics/KPIs, market data, and customer trends. · Demonstrate analytical insights and partner with business leaders to pursue growth opportunities and address areas of improvement by correcting underlying root-causes and contributing factors.

  • Manage documentation for complex dashboards as well as data areas for transparency / mentorship of junior staff · Partner with infrastructure and technology teams to ensure scalability and reproducibility for insight driven reporting and analysis.

  • Assist with design and audit of data warehouse reporting layers to create optimized and streamlined data sources

  • Develop reproducible scripting, reporting and analysis to keep a pulse on improvements.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree desired or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 years of analytic and project management experience including consulting, finance, data analytics, or business decision support

  • Advanced SQL, Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint skills required.

  • Experience with Python and/or R are a plus.

  • Efficient time and resource management skills to ensure that the service level provided exceeds expectations with a strong commitment to team success and team goals.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to effectively multi-task, make tradeoffs, take initiative, and prioritize within a fast-paced, demanding environment

  • Must be highly motivated, dependable, excel with verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work independently under pressure

  • Possess the willingness and ability to get beyond the obvious causes of outliers and poor performance, and investigate, identify, and correct the underlying root causes.

  • Outstanding analytical, strategic, problem solving, and creative thinking abilities; enterprising, resourceful, self-starter and team player who can anticipate the needs of the business

  • Ability to learn quickly and execute with new found understanding (e.g., industry, business models, products, technology)

  • Continuously deliver and execute on tasks to ensure compliance within established guidelines

  • Excellent organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
