Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking experienced maintenance mechanics to join our 3rd shift team at our newly renovated plant in Michigan. You will be responsible for all mechanical repairs and facility maintenance around the plant, ensuring that production continues to run smoothly.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on industrial machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including motors, hoses, and pumps.
Troubleshoot pneumatic systems to ensure proper air flow.
Diagnose and repair assembly equipment to maintain production flow.
Conduct basic MIG welding tasks.
Assist with facility maintenance both inside and outside the plant, including tasks such as changing light bulbs, shoveling snow, and maintaining sidewalks.
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, including diagnosing sensors and working with 240V systems.
Collaborate with electricians to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a fast-paced industrial setting.
3+ years of hydraulic troubleshooting experience on industrial machines.
Experience troubleshooting pneumatic systems on industrial machinery.
Ability to quickly diagnose and repair assembly equipment issues.
Proficiency in basic MIG welding.
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including the use of a volt meter.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley & Siemens).
480V electrical troubleshooting experience, including 3-phase motors.
Knowledge of vision systems.
Willingness to assist with facility maintenance tasks.

Work Environment
Work in a newly renovated plant with state-of-the-art equipment, including CNC machines, conveyors, and robotic weld cells. The facility operates on a three-shift schedule, with training on the 1st shift for 2-4 weeks before moving to 3rd shift. Currently, employees are working 6-7 days a week due to high production demands, but this is not expected to be long-term. Some travel to Oklahoma may be required to assist with the transition of machinery to Michigan, with expenses covered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
