Your Key Responsibilities
Cost tracking of attorneys' expenses Database entry of new inventions, filing dates and countries, documents sent to and received from government patent offices, trademark matters Reporting of new inventions, prosecution expenses and maintenance fees, trademark due dates Preparing and filing formal documents with USPTO (patents and trademarks) Organization of paper and electronic files not stored in the database Comprehensive deadline tracking (patents and trademarks) Creation of database queries for diverse reporting requests Complete database administration (other than pure individual data entry) Handling of all formal matters that don't require substantive amendments (change of assignment, change of correspondence address, payment of issue fees, etc.) Preparation of documents for foreign filing including procuring certified copies of filed applications and ordering translations Procurement of English-language translations of foreign-filed applications for filing in the US and abstracts of foreign-language prior art citations Procurement of drawings
Your Qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years experience in patent administration Experience with docketing, database management, license agreements Extensive experience with USPTO forms and electronic filing Experience with electronic filing of PCT applications with the USPTO
