Eaton Corporation Machine Operator I - 3rd in Troy, Illinois
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator I - 3rd in Troy, IL. The regularly scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 pm - 7:00 am. The rate for this position is $22.99 per hour plus a shift differential of $.50 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:
Position Overview:
This position requires you to operate sheet metal fabrication machines, read shop orders, read and understand engineering drawings, perform quality checks and use calibration equipment such as calipers, or any other equipment necessary to perform job functions.

In this function you will:
Work with flat sheet metal (steel and aluminum)
Run various machine operations (brake press, hammer flanger, buffalo roller, hand scribing & hand sheering)
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. (Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.)
Available to work overtime as required.
Previous production or manufacturing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience reading blueprints
Experience with calibration equipment such as calipers
SAP experience
Computer literacy#IND123
Skills:
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
Ability to be self- driven
