Lowe's Photo Stylist in Troutman, North Carolina

Your Impact

The Photo Stylist is responsible for curating and designing visually compelling imagery for Lowe's brands including studio and location photography, videography, and CGI. This role requires strong design skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to style and create imagery that is aligned to brand and quality standards. The Photo Stylist is responsible for the timely execution of product photography across all business areas of the company inclusive of: Home Décor, Seasonal/Hardlines and Building Materials encompassing 400+ product groups.

What you will do

  • Responsible for upholding the established brand standards across all product categories and within art direction as provided by their key stakeholders.

  • Understands Lowe’s product categories, key competitors, and possesses the ability to provide photography solutions across multiple packaging types, formats and sizes that will resonate with the consumer and facilitate the buying process.

  • Works closely with stakeholders, including art director, to execute against concepts & strategies.

  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external teams (e.g., photo producers, packaging designers, product development merchants, product vendors, marketing & content studio staff).

  • Collaborates with product development stakeholders to understand and implement product features and requirements.

  • Supports the execution of multiple concurrent and complex projects from conception through delivery.

  • Identifies and arranges props, backgrounds, furniture, and other elements to enhance the visual appeal of imagery.

  • Styles products, models, and other elements to ensure they are visually appealing and consistent with the brand's image.

  • Coordinates and manages the timely procurement of photo props and styling materials.

  • Communicates consistently with project stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met.

  • Organizes all set elements including preparation of merchandise; tag/label removal, steaming, cleaning, and potting live goods.

  • Maintains and catalogues prop and supply inventory to ensure studio efficiency.

  • Participates in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute styling ideas that support the project’s goals.

  • Adapts styling techniques to support multiple brand standards and has the ability to support changes in project requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Advertising, Fine Arts, Interior Design or related field or equivalent functional experience in lieu of degree.

  • 3+ years' experience in Set Styling or similar role in a commercial setting

  • 3-5 years' experience as a photo stylist or similar role in a commercial/retail setting, preferably Fortune 500 Company

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in photo styling with a variety of product types.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using a MAC platform
