ManpowerGroup Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist in Trinity, Alabama

Our client in Trinity, AL is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented inventory control specialist to join our team. The inventory control specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of SAP transactions, maintaining inventory control procedures, and supporting continuous improvement activities within the warehouse. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

What's in it for you?

  • Pay starting at $17.00 per hour

  • 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM work schedule (some overtime may be required)

  • Weekly pay

  • Contract to hire in as little as 90 days

Basic job functions:

  • Ensure SAP transactions are performed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Process shipment requests, schedule pick ups, and create shipment documentation.

  • Update internal tracking systems and communicate shipment status to stakeholders.

  • Support department's continuous improvement activities and assist with physical inventories and cycle count activities.

  • Ensure compliance with established sox controls and import/export regulations.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse (shipping/receiving) experience required.

  • Cycle counting experience is beneficial

  • SAP experience is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and practices/

  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in computer applications; SAP experience is a plus
