Position Summary
The Regional Strategic Inside Sales Manager - Responsible for growing revenue, gross profit dollars, market share and for creating barriers to change within the assigned accounts. This is achieved through consultative sales methods, strong customer executive relationships and solutions that impact the customers’ businesses. The Regional Strategic Inside Sales Manager works in conjunction with the Strategic Account Inside Sales Manager, Strategic Account Managers, Account Service Representatives, GM and partners with other Prime Line departments to design, implement, and manage solutions for Customers.
Strategic Accounts are defined as organizations with multiple locations requiring national sales coverage, sales spend volume or potential sales spend volume of $1 MM or greater and embraces (is a willing partner) engaging in unique strategic solutions outside of product and price.
Responsibilities
Create, document, and manage account specific strategies.
Establish significant relationships with the “C-Level” and other decision makers within each assigned account.
Manage time and schedule to ensure regular physical and virtual meetings with key individuals within each account.
Maintain an intimate understanding of every customer’s business model, challenges, goals, and vision.
Through the Inside Sales Manager, work with internal departmental resources, customer resources, and third-party strategic partners to create, implement, and manage impactful solutions.
Direct the activities of Outside Sales Managers, Strategic Accounts Inside Sales Managers, and CSC’s to drive sales strategies through specific tasks.
Coordinate members of the Prime Line Executive Team, as needed, to assist with elements of the account strategies.
Communicate account specific strategy status with the GM and other updates to customer resources to ensure timely adoption rates.
Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with every account.
Hold monthly strategy sessions with Strategic Inside Sales Managers and Strategic Account Representatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications
BA/BS Required / MS, MA, MBA Preferred
5 Years of Experience in a consultative sales position
Advanced business acumen
Advanced organizational and time management skills
Ability to productively interact with all levels of an internal and external organization
Experience creating and executing eBusiness strategies
Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills including public speaking
Superior analytical skills
Superior Sales, Marketing, and communication skills
Advanced MS Office software knowledge and ability to rapidly learn other job related software
Ability to help facilitate and manage high level IT integration projects
Advanced financial skills & understanding with the ability to create business case and P & L for proposed
Advanced understanding of all departmental tactical functions and the ability to interact on a high level with all internal and external departmental resources
Advanced knowledge of the Promotional Products industry (Apparel & Hard Goods) preferred
Willingness to travel – 60%
