Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure compliance for GE Aero’s unclaimed property (escheat) reporting processes.
Manage day-to-day compliance operations/outsource service provider
Interface with our third-party provider to ensure timely filing of reports.
Maintain/enhance process metrics & drive process improvements.
Validation of Aerospace incoming records for reporting
Assist with enhancement projects.
Work with Sr. Analyst to build awareness of unclaimed property rules within Aerospace
Assist with onboarding any acquisitions.
Assist with rolling out unclaimed property procedures.
Support answering auditors’ questions.
Reconciliation of unclaimed property data with sub-ledger detail. Reconcile data to unclaimed property items received, reissued, reversed, and reported.
Assist with transitioning Vernova during TSA period.
Provide audit support
Required Qualifications
The candidate must have at least 5 years' experience in unclaimed property compliance management
Strong experience reconciling accounts. Working knowledge of financial processes and systems would be helpful.
Project Management and Communication skills. Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities in unclaimed property disciplines at the same time.
Demonstrated ability to create operational guidelines and metrics to facilitate strong Process performance.
Proactive problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and grow
Experience in unclaimed property
Strong research skills
Skilled at Excel and other Microsoft Tools
Desired Characteristics
GE Aerospace accounting, financial experience or AP, AR, ledger, FDL/FDS
Strong experience in Financial Accounting analysis including balance sheets and income statements
The base pay range for this position is $95,900.00 - 127,800.00 The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
