Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to identify and communicate risks, establish comprehensive project plans and timelines, and apply Agile project management practices to ensure successful project delivery . This position will be f ull-time and hybrid.
What You’ll Do
Work closely with IT and OCM teams to ensure alignment and integration of development initiatives with organizational change strategies
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Communicate risks and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner
Establish detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure project objectives are met
Utilize Agile methodologies to manage projects, facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Ensure the team is adhering to Agile principles and practices
Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and changes
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals. Develop and deliver project performance reports
Allocate and manage project resources effectively, ensuring that project teams have the necessary tools and support to succeed
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery and team performance
What You'll Need
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT development and organizational change management
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong understanding of Agile project management methodologies
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with risk management and mitigation
Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, or similar)
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Preferred:
- PMP or Agile certification is a plus
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
