Daily cleaning of classrooms, office, bathrooms, and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying trash. All tile floors swept and mopped. All furniture wiped down with approved cleaners. All mats cleaned, vacuumed or wiped down. Garbage emptied, garbage receptacles washed and area around garbage cans washed. Sinks, counters, mirrors and areas around sinks cleaned and sanitized. Assure that cleaning supplies and other toxic products are stored appropriately and not accessible to children. Ensure emergency exits are accessible and lighting is in safe, working condition. Document and inform supervisor of any safety or health concerns. Arrange rooms for daily activities and clean rooms as necessary.
