Short Description:

Full-time professional Information Technology Project Development work experience and/or Function/Business Process Analysis work experience.

Complete Description:

• Please note - this is a RTH position, where the manager has intent on locating a resource that is able to convert to State's service after 6 months of contractual employment.

• Only candidates that are supported by Green Cards and US Citizens should be considered for the role.

• Candidates will need to apply for the internal position and follow the same protocol as other candidates, but the expectation is that they will be open to the conversion.

• Create and maintain System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) artifacts, including detailed user requirements documents, reports, flowcharts, diagrams, use cases, system documentation, installation/configuration manuals outlining essential steps, and change logs.

• Work with developers to translate business needs into operational software.

• Accurately document customer needs based on information acquired through requirements gathering sessions and prepare documentation to assist IT staff.

• Function as a liaison between the customer and IT staff.

• Develop test plans, test cases, and prepare test data.

• Test program modules in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other systems.

• Identify, document, and share repeatable processes.

• Recommend process improvement opportunities for CLIENT programs.

• Full-time professional Information Technology Project Development work experience and/or Function/Business Process Analysis work experience.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 6 to 8 yrs.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTIONS:

• Accredited college training may substitution for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of four (4) years.

• (Fifteen (15) semester hours in Information Technology or a related area is required.) Accredited graduate training in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related area may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years.

• (Fifteen (15) semester hours in Information Technology or a related area is required in either the undergraduate or graduate training).

• Successful completion of an Information Technology Certification program, may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years.

• (Proof of certification must accompany application.)

Required / Desired Skills
