The new role will provide EMEA leadership for the development, co-ordination and expansion of the Technician Academy's and Apprentice/Early Career Programs.
The role will support the scaling of the EMEA CHVAC Apprentice programs to create a pipeline for 100+ high calibre and qualified technicians each year. The program should be considered a best in class and industry leading program, which the graduation has real meaning and value. This requires a consistent and structured program of content which is well developed to support development of both soft and technical skills. The role will support with the effective co-ordination of all stakeholders across the business for effective implementation, and develop the required training to support them as necessary.
A Technician Academy will be established in each EMEA Zone. This will include suitable locations and access to technical equipment / simulators to meet the training needs. A defined annual training program should be established, tracked and executed to support the delivery of business priorities and maximize the service we provide our customer. The effective delivery will enhance the engagement and retention of our field technicians and support the development of clear career progress paths.
The location of the role can be flexible, however the position will require travel across EMEA to support the different markets in the delivery of these key objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
Leadership and co-ordination of the EMEA Apprentice / Early Careers Programs
Activation and scaling of Multi-Year Apprentice / Early Career Programs in all Zones
Establish a standard and visible career development pathway for Technicians
Ensuring the development of leading Technician Academy’s in each Zone which are aligned to the effective training delivery requirements
Define and track annual training plans mapped to training needs of our technicians and the business to ensure effective prioritisation and execution
Programs should be developed with the intent of being a differentiator and industry leading to attract and retain the best talent in the market
Training should include different delivery methods and both technical and soft skills within the curriculum.
Minimum Requirements
Experience and understanding of co-ordinating Apprentice and Early Careers Programs
Experience of technical training programs
Ability to demonstrate effective program management in previous roles
Background of working in different geographies and markets is advantageous
Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams
Fluent in English
