Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Towson, Maryland

Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst based in Towson, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT support, troubleshooting software issues, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. This position requires on-site presence and offers an opportunity to work and grow in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and application problems

• Resolving user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases

• Conducting diagnosis of problems, providing recommendations for improvement of large-scale IT systems

• Managing the daily performance of computer systems

• Utilizing Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware, Intune, Windows Intune, Android iOS, Apple iOS to perform tasks

• Training computer users and promoting security awareness to ensure system security

• Setting up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software

• Maintaining record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, and installation activities

• Reading technical manuals, conferring with users, and conducting computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support. Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies

• Understanding and experience with Databases

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in Lotus Notes

• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies

• Ability to work with Active Directory

• Understanding of Computer Hardware

• Experience in Configuration Management

• Ability to provide Deskside Support

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware

• Proficiency in Intune and Windows Intune

• Understanding of Android iOS and Apple iOS

• Prior experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar IT support role would be beneficial

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work effectively in a team

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work under pressure

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest technology trends and developments
