Lumen Technologies Service Group, LLC Lead Software Developer in Town and Country, Missouri

Partner in a team environment to create best-in-class websites and applications, completing all requirements and meeting usability expectations using knowledge of OO Analysis, Design (OOAD), Java, Spring Framework, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, MS Azure, AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, REST, Angular JS, React JS, Bootstrap, XML, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Shell Script, Python, Jinja Framework, Tornado Framework, Node.js. Serverless Architecture, Junit, MongoDB, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes. Develop and/or maintains a sustainable front-end framework and coordinates with other team members. Partner with technology personal to develop creative marketing technology solutions in support of meeting client expectations. Estimate timeline for assigned projects and ensure that work is completed with the estimate given. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of short- and long-term technology plans and related policies and procedures. Perform back-end development including exposing rest endpoints using spring controllers, calling out to external endpoints, aggregating data from external endpoints to be consumes by the front end, submitting front end data to external systems via REST, and creating unit tests. Perform front end development including creating html/css layout, adding business logic in JavaScript, creating vue.js components for reuse, creating automated tests using cypress, and creating unit tests. Participate in PI Planning, help to solve dependencies and create user stories. Perform Continuous Integration including maintaining CI/CD pipeline configuration, branching for monthly releases, and troubleshooting issues in K8s cluster.

Requirements:Master of Science in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field + 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, or Consultant. In lieu of Masters + 2 yrs of experience, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field and five years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, Developer or Consultant is acceptable. Experience to include at least 2 years of working knowledge of: OO Analysis, Design (OOAD), Java, Spring Framework, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, MS Azure, AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, REST, Angular JS, React JS, Bootstrap, XML, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Shell Script, Python, Jinja Framework, Tornado Framework, Node.js. Serverless Architecture, Junit, MongoDB, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes. May telecommute up to five days per week, but must reside in the St. Louis Metro area to work in-office as needed.
