CiboVita Planning and Logistics Director in TOTOWA, New Jersey
Develop item level data to leverage demand to forecast needs and improve supplier readiness; logistics planning and order tracking; develop the initial process and strategy for improved order visibility and logistics management; prepare weekly plan; implement line utilization; capacity planning; monitor delivery (production) schedule; improve SOP Process; develop and monitor KPI for warehouse and planning; develop and implement logistics procedures in place.Requirements: Requires seven (7) years of experience as a Planner, Logistician, or similar for a company with a global presence. Experience must include the following: Developing structured planning and logistics methodology and leading cross-functional teams; working with supply chain management best practices, including demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning; switching from supplier managed freight to managing logistics providers directly; planning projects, assessing risks, and opportunities; identifying, prioritizing, and conducting root cause analysis of planning and logistics related issues; preparing C-Level presentations, assisting in negotiations and building relationships with suppliers; working directly with suppliers on supply planning and order management; documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics; ERP knowledge; chemical and biological ingredient supply knowledge; compliance with FDA and EU regulations.
