Job Title: Controls Technician

Job Description

As a Controls Technician, you will be reporting to the Director of Package Development. Your key responsibilities will include implementing innovative solutions for Packing Operations and Facilities, providing training for, and troubleshooting and repairs of packaging and facilities systems across all departments. You will be expected to critically solve problems, maximize operational efficiencies and perform detailed analysis to create complex instructions that can be followed. You will also oversee the development, implementation and support of all upgrades and process improvements of machine and process control systems along with required qualification and training documentation for all staff levels. Your role will include project managing the development, implementation and operation of serialized lines, working closely with all departments to ensure all processes meet customer expectations and are compliant with industry requirements. Additionally, you will be expected to execute programming, installation and troubleshooting of PLC programs, operator interfaces, stepper and servo motors and controllers, electrical systems and associated field devices in regards to packaging and facilities systems.

Work Environment

In this role, you will be working in a manufacturing environment at a rapidly expanding Pharmaceutical Packaging Company. The facility is kept very clean, and the team is friendly and oriented. While we like to have fun, we also take our work very seriously.
