DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Therapeutic Activities Aide (TAA) serves as an important member of the Activities Department Team by assisting with the implementation of essential treatment groups designed to meet the unique treatment needs of the Torrance State Hospital patients. You work under the direction of the Therapeutic Activities Services Supervisor conducting large and small treatment group activities which serve as treatment interventions that address the patients' plan of care goals. Also, you are responsible for offering both on and off campus group activities. In addition, you provide group interventions that are designed to meet the patients' treatment needs in a unique and creative manner.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Sunday to Saturday, with 30-minute lunch. Rotation is: 8 days on, 4 days off, then 7 days on and 2 days off, with every 3rd weekend off May change based on operational needs. Six months of experience as an Aide Trainee (commonwealth title); or Six months of work experience providing care to individuals requiring assistance with daily activities; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
