Description We are seeking a meticulous Staff Accountant to be a part of our team in Torrance, California. This role will focus on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger maintenance. You will be integral to our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of our records and the efficiency of our financial procedures. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conduct Bank Reconciliations on a regular basis

• Maintain and update the General Ledger

• Create and post Journal Entries as required

• Perform Month End Close activities in a timely and accurate manner

• Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks

• Ensure all financial records are kept accurately and updated as needed

• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in financial reports

• Collaborate with the finance team on financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations procedures

• Ability to manage General Ledger tasks

• Experience with Journal Entries

• Knowledge of Month End Close procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of current financial regulations and standards

• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
