Overview
THE ROLE:
The Graphic Designer will create visual communication solutions across a variety of media, including graphics and layouts for print, collateral, packaging, environmental/signage, web/interactive, logo and identities, and graphics for video, motion graphics, and more. This person will bring best practices within the industry to drive the Herbalife brand in collaboration with writers, production artists, and under the supervision or direction of the Sr. Manager Design and Production, and the NAM Creative team Director.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
• Conceptualize, Design and create visual solutions for communication assets for Sales, Events, Marketing, Product Marketing and Sports Sponsorships Teams, to be used in mediums such as print, web/interactive, video, and environmental branding design items.
• Learn and understand the Herbalife brand guidelines and ensure the brand is followed across all touch points.
• Collaborate and conceptualize ideas with writers, other designers, and staff across multiple departments and functions.
• Collaborate on creating visual identity style guides for major product launches, events and promotions, under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Design and Production.
• Partner closely with the Sr. Manager, Design and Production to carry out the creative vision, and understand the strategies and goals set by the stakeholders, the Content Strategy team, the NAM Creative team director and the Marketing Directors.
• Occasional art direction or design direction to production artists as needed.
• Strong ability to integrate both copy and image into compelling visual solutions with attention to detail.
• Drive the Herbalife brand across all visual communication vehicles--packaging, print and collateral, advertising, facilities branding, web/interactive, social media, brand style guides, and other requests.
• Responsible for ensuring deadlines are always met and keeping clear communication with Project Managers and managing expectations.

Historically we have pioneered the acquisition of new creative technologies for our brand and have been involved in proposing new brand expressions and engaging brand campaigns to push our brand to the next level. We also produce our own photography and have video edition and motion graphics capabilities.
Qualifications
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• 5+ years design experience at either advertising agency, design firm, in-house agency or corporate creative department.
• Strong time management and communication skills to multitask and manage projects with overlapping deadlines and priorities, as well as ability to work under pressure and receive feedback positively
• Expert level proficiency with Macintosh hardware/software and current versions of Adobe Creative Cloud apps, specially Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Bridge.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office: Powepoint, Word and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and GIF animations.
• Deep and broad knowledge across multiple communication vehicles: Internet, Print, Packaging, corporate ID, systems-based design, style guides, advertising, catalogs, video, and environmental design
• Presentation development, and presentation delivery to senior executives
Education
• BA, BFA degree in graphic design or advertising from and accredited art school or institution
