Description

The Financial Analyst coordinate and support the accounting and reconciliation of all financial data. Position ensures data is properly recorded and reported timely, accurately, and in accordance with the companies’ standard operating procedures and business rules. This position candidate will possess strong accounting, financial and reconciliation knowledge and a commitment to accuracy and completion of financial data.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares daily, monthly and yearly financial reconciliation reports

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with internal control policies and procedures

  • Assist in ensuring financial procedures, internal controls, and money handling are GAAP-compliant.

  • Assist in ensuring all month-end financial deadlines are met.

  • Assist in ensuring all financial functions as they pertain to CSC operations are met.

  • Conduct budget and variance analysis

  • Other tasks and special projects to assist the Finance Manager on an as needed basis

Minimum Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • One to Three years of financial analysis and accounting experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, or a related field is preferred

  • Experience performing accounting and/or revenue analytic functions

  • Must demonstrate good working knowledge of GAAP

  • Highly detail-oriented and strong analytical skills

  • Experienced in QuickBooks preferred

  • Demonstrated competence in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced features of Excel-pivot tables, charts, advanced calculations, etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while completing multiple projects and activities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision.

    Ability to communicate orally with management, and other co-workers, both individually and in a group setting.
