Manulife UX Designer Co-op/Intern – Summer 2025 in Toronto, Ontario

Are you passionate about UX Design and eager to gain real-world experience? Join us as a UX Designer Co-op/Intern for Summer 2025 at Manulife Wealth & Asset Management! You’ll collaborate with Senior Designers and Design Leads to define, design, and test digital experiences for our diverse audiences. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to projects like launching a new Secure Site, enhancing the Retail Secure Site, and developing a new Mobile App. This role will empower you to develop your skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Position Responsibilities:

  • Define, design, and test digital experiences for Manulife Wealth & Asset Management’s diverse audiences.

  • Collaborate with Senior Designers and Design Leads to conduct usability audits, create prototypes and wireframes, and perform user testing.

  • Assist in launching a new Secure Site experience, enhancing the Retail Secure Site, and developing a new Mobile App.

  • Design new digital experiences or improve existing ones with input from designers, product owners, and the technology team.

  • Facilitate workshops and user testing sessions.

  • Create wireframes and design documentation in Figma.

  • Learn the end-to-end digital design process, including user needs validation, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visuals.

  • Develop skills in research, analysis, communication, and managing multiple work streams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively and effectively, demonstrating innovative thinking and resourcefulness.

  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive team dynamic.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment.

Salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
