Delbridge Solutions Inc. Senior Technical Project Manager in Toronto, Ontario

Position Overview 

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager who excels at bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have the ability to dive deep into technical details with our engineering team, while also translating complex concepts into clear, understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders. This role requires strong communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams. 

We are looking for candidates who are based in Toronto, ON and are comfortable with a hybrid working model. 

Responsibilities 

  • Technical Management: Proven ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with technical teams. Strong communication skills to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Project Execution: Proactively identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth project execution. Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies. 

  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate clear communication between the project team and stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations, including senior leaders within the organization. 

  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Leverage a consultative approach to build trust and confidence with clients. 

  • Project Planning and Reporting: Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and timelines. Report project status concisely and document progress according to best practices. 

  • Crisis Management: Handle escalations and critical situations effectively. Assist in scoping project solutions and defining project requirements. 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of technical project management experience with enterprise-scale software solutions or consulting services. 

  • Experience managing Microsoft Data Warehousing projects. 

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban). 

  • Excellent client interaction and presentation skills. 

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and effective communication. 

  • Ability to travel and work on client sites as needed. 

  • Proactive mindset with a can-do attitude and accountability. 

Nice-to-Have Skills: 

  • Fluency in Spanish. 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric. 

  • Familiarity with MongoDB 

  • Data transformation and engineering project experience. 

  • Background in delivering software modernization projects. 

  • Proficiency with JIRA or other project management tools.
