Interac Senior Manager, Sponsorships in Toronto, Ontario
We are small but mighty team in a growing, innovative organization. We?re looking for a self-motivated individual with strategic sponsorship expertise who is driven to succeed. If this sounds like you, you will leverage your experience to gather cross-functional input then develop and implement a sponsorship strategy. As a collaborative partner, you?ll have the opportunity to work with many internal business units, from Product to Innovation to Enterprise teams, with the overall objective of building brand with a solid understanding of how to demonstrate ROI.

Working autonomously and taking charge.
Developing a sponsorship strategy that aligns to Corporate, Brand and Product and Innovation strategies and requirements.
Developing sponsorship guidelines and processes.
Contract negotiations and working with Legal teams.
Relationship management; understanding both partner and sponsor needs and objectives and ensuring value for both.
Internal stakeholder management; working collaboratively to manage stakeholder needs.
Spearheading cross-functional teams and developing go-to-market strategies, i.e. Comms/PR, Marketing/Brand, Product, Innovation, Human Resources, Client Management, including employee, executive and customer engagement, targeted or large event execution or brand activation, thought leadership and content opportunity, etc.
Working with external agencies, brand ambassadors, vendors and venues ? building a team to execute and deliver, while rolling up your sleeves and getting into the mix.
Ensuring KPI success measures are pre-determined in order to evaluate success and ROI of sponsorship properties.
Managing, monitoring and reporting on sponsorship budget.
Noticing things that others won?t ? it?s all in the details!
Who are you?
You must have a university degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications.
You have 7-10 years related work experience.
You?re a creative thinker, able to generate new ideas.
You?re able to demonstrate critical thinking abilities.
You have strong attention to detail.
You can work autonomously and under pressure in a high-volume environment on multiple tasks simultaneously.
You have strong communication skills (written & verbal).
You have working knowledge of the Canadian payments and/or banking system, and/or have agency experience.
You are proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products.
You can have a flexible schedule when sponsorship-related events are being executed; may sometimes include weekends or early/late hours.
