Senior Account Manager - Consumer Retail Technology

Randstad, the world’s leading partner for talent, is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager for our Randstad Digital (RD) Consumer Retail Technology specialty. In this role, you will drive new business by leveraging your solutions-oriented, consultative approach, deep industry knowledge, and extensive experience in consumer retail technology. Your focus will be on building lasting relationships with clients and understanding their specific needs, while also applying your technical expertise and account management experience to deliver transformative solutions.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on consumer retail technology, positioning RD as a leading digital partner within this space.

  • Analyze market trends, leverage your deep industry expertise, and strategically position RD to maximize growth potential within the consumer retail technology segment.

  • Utilize your consultative selling skills to provide tailored solutions that drive customer engagement, improve business processes, and enhance consumer experiences through technology.

  • Establish RD as the preferred partner by building strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the consumer retail tech sector.

  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional client satisfaction, leveraging RD’s strengths in cloud, infrastructure, data & analytics, and digital engineering.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through their digital transformation journeys by offering insights and solutions that align with their business goals.

  • Drive new business through strategic client engagement, territory planning, and effective selling of our services.

  • Lead the execution of new agreements to meet and exceed revenue and margin expectations, ensuring the continuous growth of your client portfolio.

What you need to bring:

  • At least 3 years of experience in account management or sales within the consumer retail technology industry, with a focus on technical products or services.

  • Proven ability to develop and expand business relationships through a consultative, solutions-based approach.

  • Strong industry knowledge, particularly in retail technology, and the ability to translate technical expertise into impactful business solutions.

  • Experience working with both offshore, nearshore, and global teams to deliver successful outcomes for clients.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influence skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior-level stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, building long-lasting client relationships, and managing complex projects.

  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a creative mindset to address client challenges.

  • A track record of outperforming in a competitive sales environment.

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
